| 1987-1997
I developed an interest in photographs when
I was about 14, and a couple of years later
started taking pictures of boxing clubs and
fighters in Glasgow, where I had previously
trained and fought myself. From this I developed
an obsession with documentary photography.
1997-1999 After
winning a couple of photographic competitions
I started to secure commissions from Scotland
on Sunday, the Scotsman and the Sunday Herald
newspapers and Magazines.
1999-Present On building
up a sound client base as a photographer
I quit my full time employment to enable
me to concentrate more on social/humanitarian
documentary projects which I could then
fund from photographic commissions.
