largely self taught photographer, Zann Huizhen
Huang started a backpacking trip in Asia
in November 2004 doing mainly travel photography.
She began her first serious foray into photojournalism
after the tsunami in January 2005. Since
then she has been trying to build a portfolio
on the road to pursue her dream of becoming
a globe-trotting photojournalist. Zann also
met fellow photojournalists who gave her
invaluable critique and advice along the
way. Zann contributes
to the United Nations on humanitarian and
environmental issues. She joined WpN -World
Picture News (New York, USA) in December
2005. Currently, she is based in the Islamic
Republic of Iran.
