Melissa Lyttle loves
chasing the light. She is commited to documenting
the lives of people in her community, and
telling their stories in new and interesting
ways.
Melissa’a work
has been recognized by POY, the Atlanta
Photojournalism Seminar, the southern Short
Course, Best of Photojournalism and Alexia
Foundation. She was a student at the Eddie
Adams Workshop in 2001 and has been honored
to return three times since as a member
of the staff. Six years ago, she started
an online community for photojournalists
called APhotoADay, in that time it has grown
from two members to over 900.
Melissa lives in Tampa, Fla. and works as
a photojournalist for the St. Petersburg
Times newspapers.
